Frequently Asked Questions

Are your translations accepted by Identity Malta or for other official purposes?

Yes, we are authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to certify our translations, making them acceptable for legal purposes, including Identity Malta. Additionally, we can arrange an apostille for documents intended for use abroad, though this service comes with an extra fee.

Please feel free to contact us for more details.

What languages do you translate?

We translate to and from any language. With a network of over 1,000 professional translators worldwide, we can handle any language pair and document topic you require.

How long will it take?

Our standard delivery time for documents up to 1,500 words is 3 working days, allowing us time to translate, format proofread, and review your document for 100% accuracy. Larger documents may require more time, and we’ll provide a specific delivery date for each project. We also offer an express service for urgent requests, with shorter documents available within 1 working day at an additional cost. All charges will be outlined in our quotation.

Do you offer an express service?

Yes, we do. If you need a quick turnaround, let us know your deadline when requesting a quote, and we will provide the quickest possible delivery option, subject to an urgency fee. For immediate assistance, we recommend calling us directly.

How much will it cost?

Our pricing depends on several factors:

The number of words in your document

The format of the provided documents for translation

The language pair(s) involved

The urgency of the delivery

The complexity or technicality of the content

We have a minimum fee for a single-page document or up to 350 words in most languages. To provide an accurate quote, we need to review your document. We aim to offer the best price for high-quality translation and usually send a quote within 2 hours during business hours.

How can I send you the file(s)?

You can submit your documents in the following ways:

Bring the original to our office.

Upload the documents through our website

Email a high-quality scan or photograph to office@gsitranslations.com.
If you prefer another method, please contact us to discuss options.

How can I pay?

We accept bank transfers, Revolut and cash payments. Payment must be made in full upon confirmation of the quote, and work will begin once the payment is received. All translations are guaranteed for content accuracy.

Can my documents be Certified or Apostilled?

Yes, we offer both services.

Certification: As authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we can certify your translation. If you need a certified hard copy, just let us know when placing your order. You can collect it from our office or arrange for a courier.

Apostille: We can also arrange an apostille for your document if needed. This service comes with a surcharge, so please contact us for more information, as this service is not available in all locations.

Can I get another copy of a past translation?

Yes, we keep translations on file for up to 5 years. If you need another copy, we can easily provide one for a small fee, depending on the document size.

Is my document treated as confidential?

Absolutely. All of our staff and translators have signed non-disclosure agreements, and we treat every document with strict confidentiality. For clients requiring long-term confidential services, we offer a mutual non-disclosure agreement for added peace of mind.
